Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases, repairs, support services, digital services, subscriptions, hosting, software projects and other services supplied by MKTECHSUPPORT (Pty) Ltd.

1. Business Information

Business name: MKTECHSUPPORT (Pty) Ltd
Registration number: K2025/071833/07
Country: South Africa
Website: mktechsupport.co.za

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, making payment, booking a service, submitting a device for repair or using one of our digital services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Services, Products and Quotations

Product availability, service scope, prices and turnaround times may depend on technical requirements, supplier availability and the work requested. Certain work may require a quotation and customer approval before work begins.

4. Payments

Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. Payment terms appear on the relevant quotation, invoice, checkout page or service agreement.

Online payments may be processed by an independent payment provider. MKTECHSUPPORT does not intentionally store customers' complete card details.

5. Repairs and Customer Devices

Customers should back up important data before submitting a device where possible. Diagnostic and repair procedures can involve risks where equipment is already damaged, corrupted or unstable.

6. Device Collection and Storage

Customers should collect devices promptly after being notified that a device is ready. Unless otherwise agreed, a storage fee of R40 per day may apply after 14 days from notification.

Uncollected property will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law.

7. Digital Services

Digital services may include hosting, websites, software, support access, account access, subscriptions, managed services and other electronically supplied services.

8. Third-Party Services

Some services depend on third-party providers such as hosting companies, domain registries, software vendors, suppliers, couriers and payment processors. Their own service terms and processing times may apply.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MKTECHSUPPORT is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by third-party outages, pre-existing device damage, customer misuse or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased, whether work has already been performed and whether a product or digital service has already been supplied.

1. Physical Products

Where applicable, an eligible physical product may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt if it is unused, complete, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

2. Faulty or Incorrect Products

If a product is defective, damaged on delivery or materially different from what was ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may inspect the item before approving a repair, exchange, replacement or refund.

3. Repairs and Technical Services

Diagnostic fees, authorised labour, call-out charges and completed work are generally not refundable simply because the customer changes their mind after work has already been performed.

4. Websites, Software and Custom Projects

Amounts relating to work already completed, third-party licences, domains, hosting, supplier charges or other committed costs may be deducted from any approved refund.

5. Digital Services

Once a digital service has been activated, provisioned, delivered or materially used, refunds may be limited because the service has already been supplied.

6. Refund Requests

To request a refund, email info@mktechsupport.co.za and include your name, invoice or order reference, payment reference and reason for the request.

Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible. Bank and payment-provider processing times may apply.

Cancellation Policy

1. Service Bookings

A service booking may be cancelled before work begins. If travel, diagnostics, ordering, setup or other chargeable work has already occurred, those costs may remain payable.

2. Repairs

Repairs may be cancelled before completion, but diagnostic charges, labour already performed, ordered parts, courier costs and other committed expenses may remain payable.

3. Website and Software Projects

Custom projects may be cancelled in writing. Work already completed and non-refundable third-party costs remain payable.

4. Recurring Services and Subscriptions

Recurring services may be cancelled before the next billing date by contacting us or by using an available account cancellation option.

Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not automatically create a refund for a billing period that has already started and been made available, except where required by law or otherwise agreed.

5. How to Cancel

Send cancellation requests to info@mktechsupport.co.za and include the relevant order, invoice, service or account details.

Delivery & Service Fulfilment Policy

MKTECHSUPPORT supplies both physical and digital services, so delivery depends on the type of purchase.

1. Physical Products

Physical products may be collected by the customer or delivered using an available courier or agreed delivery method. Any applicable delivery fee will be shown or communicated before completion of the order.

Estimated delivery times depend on stock availability, supplier availability, courier schedules and destination.

2. Repairs

Repair fulfilment occurs when the authorised repair or diagnostic service is completed and the customer is notified that the device is ready for collection, return delivery or another agreed handover method.

3. Digital Services

Digital services are delivered electronically and may include:

Digital fulfilment may be immediate or may require manual setup, supplier provisioning, domain activation, configuration or project work.

4. Delivery Problems

If payment has been made but the expected product or service has not been received, contact info@mktechsupport.co.za with the relevant order or payment reference.

Warranty Policy

1. Repair Workmanship

Qualifying repair workmanship carries a 3-month warranty, unless otherwise stated on the quotation or invoice.

2. Parts and Accessories

Parts and accessories may carry a warranty of approximately 3 to 12 months, depending on supplier or manufacturer terms.

3. Exclusions

Warranty may not apply to new physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, malware, power damage, accidental damage, normal wear and tear or unrelated faults.
