1. Introduction

Welcome to MKTECHSUPPORT. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, online services, products, repair booking facilities, technical support, hosting services and related business activities.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you acknowledge these Terms and Conditions. Where we require your acceptance, you will be asked to confirm your agreement before proceeding.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable South African legislation.

2. Business Information

MKTECHSUPPORT provides technology products, computer repairs, technical assistance, IT services, hosting-related services and digital solutions.

Our official website is: https://mktechsupport.co.za/

General enquiries may be sent to: info@mktechsupport.co.za

Additional business and contact information is available through our Contact page.

3. Eligibility and Website Use

You agree to use the MKTECHSUPPORT website for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the rights of other customers or the operation of our systems.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, databases, servers, applications or other protected systems.

Customers who create accounts must provide accurate information and take reasonable steps to protect their login credentials.

Where a transaction requires legal capacity or the consent of a parent or guardian, the necessary consent must be obtained.

4. Technology Products and Orders

MKTECHSUPPORT may offer computers, accessories, components, networking equipment and other technology products sourced from distributors, manufacturers and approved suppliers.

Product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information and availability are provided to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

We aim to keep product information accurate. However, specifications, supplier availability and product packaging may change from time to time.

An order submitted through the website constitutes an offer to purchase. Acceptance is subject to applicable consumer law, stock availability, payment verification and confirmation by MKTECHSUPPORT.

If an advertised product becomes unavailable or an order cannot be fulfilled, we will communicate the available options and process any refund due in accordance with applicable law.

5. Pricing and Quotations

Product and service prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless another currency is clearly indicated.

Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or additional fees will be disclosed as required before a customer commits to a transaction.

Quotations may be subject to a stated validity period, supplier pricing, exchange-rate changes and product availability.

We will not impose an additional charge that was not properly disclosed or otherwise lawfully agreed to.

6. Payments and Payment Processing

MKTECHSUPPORT may provide payment options through supported payment service providers, including Paystack and PayPal where available and enabled.

The payment methods available for a particular transaction will be displayed during checkout or communicated before payment.

Payment transactions may be subject to the payment provider's security checks, transaction requirements and applicable terms.

MKTECHSUPPORT does not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every transaction.

For additional information, see our Payment Policy.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery availability, charges and estimated delivery periods depend on the product, supplier, delivery destination and courier arrangements.

Any delivery estimate is subject to applicable law and the terms confirmed at the time of purchase.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and cooperate with reasonable delivery arrangements.

Risk and responsibility for goods will transfer only in accordance with applicable South African law.

Further details are available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

8. Computer Repairs and Technical Services

MKTECHSUPPORT offers diagnostic, repair, maintenance, installation, upgrade and technical support services for supported equipment and systems.

Repair bookings may be submitted through our website. Submission of a booking does not automatically guarantee that a repair can be completed.

Repair work may depend on the availability of replacement parts, equipment condition, diagnostic findings, supplier support and customer approval.

Where additional work or costs become necessary, MKTECHSUPPORT will seek the customer's approval where required before proceeding.

Customers should back up important data before submitting equipment for repair whenever reasonably possible.

We will exercise reasonable care and skill when handling equipment and data. Nothing in these terms removes our liability where the law does not permit its exclusion.

Read our Repair Terms & Conditions for further information.

9. Workmanship Warranty

MKTECHSUPPORT offers a complimentary three-month workmanship warranty on qualifying repair and technical service work, subject to the applicable warranty conditions.

The workmanship warranty generally relates to faults directly attributable to the original qualifying work performed by MKTECHSUPPORT.

It does not automatically cover unrelated faults, subsequent accidental damage or new defects arising from different causes.

This additional warranty does not replace, shorten or limit statutory consumer rights, including any applicable protections under the Consumer Protection Act.

Please review our Workmanship Warranty Policy.

10. Product and Supplier Warranties

Products supplied by MKTECHSUPPORT may include manufacturer or supplier warranties in addition to applicable statutory consumer protections.

Warranty periods and procedures may vary according to the product, manufacturer and supplier.

Customers who purchased a product from MKTECHSUPPORT may contact us directly regarding a suspected warranty defect.

Where appropriate, MKTECHSUPPORT will coordinate the return, assessment or warranty process with the relevant supplier or manufacturer.

Supplier involvement does not remove MKTECHSUPPORT's obligations as a retailer under applicable law.

A product outside its applicable warranty coverage may require a separately approved paid diagnostic or repair service.

See our Product Warranty Policy.

11. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Return, refund and cancellation requests will be considered in accordance with applicable South African consumer legislation and the terms relevant to the transaction.

Different legal rights and procedures may apply to defective products, incorrect goods, eligible electronic transactions, service cancellations and ordinary change-of-mind requests.

Where a customer is entitled to a statutory remedy, MKTECHSUPPORT will not substitute a more restrictive supplier policy for that legal right.

Please refer to our Returns & RMA Policy and Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

12. Hosting and Digital Services

MKTECHSUPPORT may offer website hosting, domain-related services, website management, maintenance and other digital solutions.

Certain services may rely on external hosting companies, domain registries, software providers or infrastructure partners.

Service features, billing periods, renewal requirements and any applicable usage restrictions should be confirmed in the relevant service description or agreement.

Customers remain responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining lawful website content and safeguarding account credentials.

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill and comply with applicable consumer protection requirements.

13. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide information that is accurate and reasonably necessary for MKTECHSUPPORT to fulfil an order or service request.

Customers must not submit equipment, accounts, software or information for which they lack the necessary ownership, permission or authority.

Where access credentials or administrative permissions are required for authorised technical work, customers should provide them through an appropriate secure process.

Customers should promptly notify MKTECHSUPPORT of relevant changes, suspected account compromise or errors in order information.

14. Privacy and Personal Information

MKTECHSUPPORT processes personal information in accordance with applicable South African data protection requirements, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Personal information may be used to manage orders, provide repairs, communicate with customers, process payments and deliver requested services.

For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.

15. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, graphics, original text, software and other materials may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws.

Unless authorised or otherwise permitted by law, users may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit protected MKTECHSUPPORT materials without permission.

Third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

16. Third-Party Services

Our website or services may contain links to third-party platforms, payment providers, hosting services, suppliers or external resources.

Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.

MKTECHSUPPORT remains responsible for its own legal obligations and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Website and Service Availability

We aim to maintain reliable website and service availability. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, infrastructure faults, network conditions or events beyond our reasonable control.

Any specific availability commitment or service-level guarantee will be governed by the applicable written service agreement.

18. Liability and Consumer Rights

MKTECHSUPPORT will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing products and services.

To the extent permitted by law, liability for losses may depend on the nature of the transaction, the circumstances of the loss and any applicable written agreement.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability for gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or limits rights and remedies that consumers are entitled to exercise under applicable legislation.

19. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Customers are encouraged to contact MKTECHSUPPORT first if they have a complaint regarding a product, repair, payment or service.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate complaints and communicate an appropriate response.

Nothing in these terms prevents customers from approaching an applicable consumer protection authority, ombud or court where they are legally entitled to do so.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Relevant legislation may include the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act and the Protection of Personal Information Act, where applicable.

21. Changes to These Terms

MKTECHSUPPORT may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our services, operational procedures or applicable law.

The effective date displayed on the Terms and Conditions page identifies the date of the current published version.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired under applicable law or an existing binding agreement.
